Community Instructions
Introduction
We developed the Community as a forum for secretaries, PAs and administrators to help each other out with their daily tasks, problems and ideas. The Community is divided into different forums where members can post on pretty much any topic they like. To participate you must register as a member which is a simple process and best of all, it's free!
Getting started
The Community is very intuitive even if you haven't used similar forums in the past. Once you have registered and logged in, you will see all the forums, e.g. Jobs, Resources, Time Out and their subsections, Positions Vacant, Positions Wanted, Tip Sheets, MS Office etc. To see what other members are talking about, click on a forum title and take a look at all the topics. If you get stuck at any time just click on the BBT Community Forum Index link at the top of the page
and you will be back at the beginning. Clcik on the new topic icon and you can start just that, a new topic of your own choice.
Maximum benefit
All members will gain maximum benefit by following one very simple rule -
You get out what you put in!
If everyone just asks for help with their own issues, the forum will quickly fill up with lots of issues and no solutions! If you try to provide more solutions than you seek the forum will quickly become an abundant source of useful information shared amongst all the members - that's community spirit!
Get in the habit
Bookmark the Community homepage so you can log quickly into the site. On this page, there are three very important links in the top right corner:
![]()
If we all click on these links before posting a new topic then we will definitely create something valuable for everybody. Just to help things along, we have our own professional moderators who will give their qualified opinion when they think it is necessary or if it appears that someone is really stuck and no-one else can help them.
Finally, before you post a new topic, chances are someone before you may already have had the same issue and had it resolved. So, use the Search facility

and look for your issue using keywords. You can also see a link above to the FAQ section which is a fully comprehensive help function for use with the forum. Click here to view it now or visit the Community and get started straight away!
Best of luck. All feedback very welcome.
